About Allan Senkow

He is a partner of the law firm of Senkow & Frank LLP, located in Los Angeles. Allan Senkow focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning, tax and elder law.

Experience

Prior to becoming an attorney, Allan Senkow was a police officer. He was forced to reevaluate his own future as a result of an automobile accident in 1985. Mr. Senkow returned to school to obtain a law degree and begin his second career. After finishing law school Mr. Senkow spent four years working for a law firm before starting his own practice. He returned to law school and received a masters degree in tax in 1997. He is admitted to practice in all California State courts, as well as the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. District Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the San Fernando Valley Bar Association and the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys. He also serves his community as a volunteer Judge Pro Tem with the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Education

Mr. Senkow received his undergraduate degree from Loyola University in Chicago and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of LaVerne College of Law. He also attained his LL.M. degree in tax, with honors from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco.

Personal

Mr. Senkow is married and has two grown children as well as two grandchildren. He enjoys photography and playing golf.

About the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys
