About Jennifer Griffin

Jennifer Q. Griffin is an associate at the law firm of Kendall Maddox and Associates, Attorneys and Financial Planners. Her law practice is focused in the areas of elder law, Medicaid for nursing home care, estate planning, trust administration and probate.

Mrs. Griffin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, summa cum laude, from Alabama State University in 1993. She obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1997. While in law school, she served as Student Articles Editor of the Law & Psychology Review and was a member of the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society.

Currently, Mrs. Griffin is admitted to practice before Federal and State Courts in Alabama. She is a member of the Alabama Interfaith Coalition on Aging, the Medical Social Service Organization, the Alabama State Bar Association and the Birmingham Bar Association. She has served as chair person of the Elder Law Section of the Alabama State Bar Association which is a section devoted solely to addressing elder law issues of Alabama’s older adults. She is an associate member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, a premier organization that fosters excellence in estate planning, and a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the leading professional association of attorneys working with legal issues affecting the elderly.


About the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys

The Academy is a national organization dedicated to promoting excellence in estate planning by providing its exclusive membership of attorneys with up-to-date research on estate and tax planning, educational materials, and other important resources to empower them to provide superior estate planning services.
