About Phillip Wylkan
Phillip T. Wylkan is an Elder Law and Estate Planning Attorney. When Attorney Wylkan joined Mr. John T. Hall’s firm, he began to immerse himself in the subjects of elder law, estate planning, and probate. As part of the practice, Phillip prepares comprehensive estate plans incorporating such documents as revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, pour over wills, various powers of attorney as well as deeds and documents which assist clients with all of their Medicaid, Veterans Benefits and Estate Planning needs. He also works extensively in Trust Administration. Phillip Wylkan also is a public speaker who educates professionals, civic groups and the public on Medicaid, Estate Planning, Veterans Benefits and many other Elder Law issues.
Phillip T. Wylkan received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Rutgers University and his Juris Doctorate from Lewis and Clark Law School, Portland Oregon. During law school, he worked for the both the Oregon Department of Justice and later as a court certified student prosecutor at Multnomah County Prosecutor’s Office, engaging in extensive trial work. Phillip T. Wylkan became a member of the Ohio State Bar in November 2005. After working in general practice for two years, he joined the Hall Law Firm in August 2008.
As a partner in the Hall and Wylkan Law Firm, Phillip Wylkan also joined the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys (AAEPA) with current member Mr. John Hall. AAEPA supports attorneys across the country by providing them with the critical continuing legal education needed to properly counsel clients on all estate planning needs. The AAEPA membership is dedicated to helping clients effectively plan their estates, while at the same time helping them retain control over their assets and their lives.

About the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys
