About Joanna Solozabal Joanna M. Solozabal is a senior associate attorney at Legacy, APC, a trusts and estates law firm. As a bilingual and bi-cultural attorney she is able to provide estate planning services to a vast variety of families. Ms. Solozabal is dedicated to providing families with the security and peace of mind of knowing that their family will be protected and that their legacy will be preserved for generations to come. Ms. Solozabal is committed to reaching a deeper understanding of each family’s dynamic and needs to create an estate plan that addresses and honors what is most important to each family. By achieving a deeper connection with clients she is able to better assist and serve them in their planning needs. Experience Prior to joining Legacy, APC, Ms. Solozabal worked at a small boutique firm specializing in corporate business law and estate planning. Ms. Solozabal was the primary point of contact for clients collecting information and drafting their estate planning documents. Education Ms. Solozabal received her Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego, School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Solozabal interned at an international law firm in Barcelona, Spain assisting with the drafting, interpretation and translation of legal documents. Ms. Solozabal graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of San Diego. Personal Ms. Solozabal is a member of the National Latina Business Women Association, an organization established to encourage Latino women to develop their business and professional goals. Ms. Solozabal is also an active member of Mujeres con Mayuscula, a women’s group dedicated to encouraging leadership and personal growth of today’s woman. She is also a member of La Raza Lawyers Association, an organization established to promote and represent Latino attorneys and the Latino community in San Diego County. Ms. Solozabal recently participated in and completed her first half marathon, the America’s Finest City 2009 Half Marathon, proceeds of which benefited the Cabrillo National Monument Foundation, the Pancreatica Walks and Runs of the Lorenzen Cancer Foundation and the New Children’s Museum. Ms. Solozabal resides in the community of Talmadge in San Diego, CA.
About the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys
