Immediately after law school, he worked for Arthur Andersen & Company where he assisted clients with personal financial planning and tax planning. He then worked for Smith-Moore & Associates, where he worked in the area of estate planning and asset protection. Mr. Bond is a member in good standing of the State Bar of Texas and the College of the State Bar (an organization for attorneys who have maintained a high degree of continuing professional education).

He believes that estate planning and is one of the most interesting and civilized parts of the law. The vast majority of Americans have done no estate planning. Confusion and misinformation rule the day. He believes that he can be of service to others by educating the public about the benefits of estate planning and helping clients plan for their families and loved ones. Likewise, seniors have no idea that they have a need for Medicaid estate planning. The Texas Health and Human Services Commission are not allowed to give legal and financial advice with regards to qualification. Many spend-down needlessly because they don’t understand the rules.
