About Laura L. Ergood
In 2005, Laura ventured out into a solo practice with a focus on Trust & Estates and Elder Law. She is currently a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and the NJ NAELA chapter where she serves on the board as the secretary. As a native of Cherry Hill, she has served clients & residents in South Jersey over the past two decades.
Laura L. Ergood, Esquire, is a 1990 graduate of Rutgers University New Brunswick Campus. She graduated Temple University’s Beasley School of Law in 1993 with honors. Beginning her legal career as a Law Clerk to the Honorable John A. Fratto, she then went on to serve as a Camden County Prosecutor and Deputy Attorney General in the Criminal Justice Division -Organize Crime and Racketeering Unit for the next ten years.
As a former prosecutor, business owner, mother, wife and daughter of a mother suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease, her life experiences have allowed her to understand life’s hardships. She understands what her clients are experiencing, and her empathy, combined with her knowledge of the law, offers her clients much needed support and legal assistance at a time of crisis. As a native of Cherry Hill, she has served clients & residents in South Jersey over the past two decades.
About the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys
The Academy is a national organization dedicated to promoting excellence in estate planning by providing its exclusive membership of attorneys with up-to-date research on estate and tax planning, educational materials, and other important resources to empower them to provide superior estate planning services.
