About Peter Fredman

Peter Fredman is an accomplished complex litigator whose specialties include consumer rights, class action, mortgage servicing, unfair business, debt collection practices, and California foreclosure law.


A 1995 graduate of UCLA law school, Peter Fredman has over 20 years’ experience as a litigator in the California and federal courts. He spent his early years defending real estate agents in malpractice and fraud cases, did a stint at one of the largest firms in the Silicon Valley, then switched to plaintiffs' trial work. He opened the Law Office of Peter Fredman in 2008 to focus on consumer and class action cases, with an emphasis on borrower cases arising from the mortgage crisis. He has been class counsel in settlements worth over $50 million.

About the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys

The Academy is a national organization dedicated to promoting excellence in estate planning by providing its exclusive membership of attorneys with up-to-date research on estate and tax planning, educational materials, and other important resources to empower them to provide superior estate planning services.
