About Glenn Stockton
Glenn is the founder and Managing Partner of Stockton & Stern, LLC, a law firm serving clients in both Kansas and Missouri. The firm has offices in Overland Park’s Corporate Woods and in Gardner, Kansas. Although his passion is in the areas of estate planning and elder law, in his early years as a “small town attorney” Glenn handled a wide range of cases, including divorces, bankruptcy, real estate transactions and probate. The experience he gained during this time, particularly in the areas of divorce and bankruptcy, helps him design estate plans with strong asset protection components. It also gives him a unique perspective on the emotional issues families grapple with every day.
Mr. Stockton is a fifth generation Kansan, having grown up in the home built by his great-great grandparents just outside of Emporia. Glenn graduated Magna Cum Laude. from Benedictine College in Atchison and then attended the University of Kansas School of Law where is his received his Juris Doctorate. He is a frequent guest speaker and lecturer throughout the mid-west on estate planning topics as well on topics related to how to protect assets from the threats of taxes, probate and the cost of long-term care.
Glenn is accredited by the Veterans Administration and is a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow and serves on the Board of Directors for the Olathe Health Charitable Foundation.
